Looking to have a full day or even an entire weekend of fun on the Boston waterfront? Not only home to Boston Electric Boats, but to countless other captivating attractions. From museums to art galleries and extraordinary restaurants, your day by our boats and exploring the city is sure to be memorable.

Let’s talk about our top 5 favorite attractions in Boston:

1.) Boston Children’s Museum

Having more than 50,000 items to explore, one of our favorite family-friendly attractions is Boston Children’s Museum. In recent years, people have strayed away from the wholesome time of being present: To absorb, understand, and ask questions about everything around you. The Boston’s Children Museum, internationally recognized, will help you do just that. The museum is a leading attraction for education programs in science, culture, health and fitness, math, literacy, and the arts, and introduces fascination in the most fun way possible.

What better way to congratulate and commend your hard-working children for heading back to school than to book a boat ride and to visit Boston’s Children Museum. Keep them engaged and interested in learning by bringing them on the water and visiting the Boston Children’s Museum.

2.) The Lawn on D

The Lawn on D is one of the Waterfront District’s most dynamic outdoor spaces, offering unique entertainment, lawn games, and concessions! The grassy, open space allows you to enjoy seasonal live music with friends and family while playing some of your favorite lawn games like ping pong, bocce, Jenga, and corn hole. The Lawn on D also has LED glowing swings and an inflatable maze that make this innovative, modern space a great spot for the perfect Instagram photo. The Lawn On D is unlike any other Boston destination and is absolutely worth checking out after a cruise on the harbor!

3.) The Waterfront Restaurants

It is no secret that Boston is home to some of the freshest and most appetizing seafood. The Boston Waterfront has countless food options that you can’t go wrong with! Some of our favorites are Rowes Wharf Sea Grille and the Landing at Long Wharf. Enjoying a scenic view of the ocean while eating your favorite seafood meal sounds like the perfect evening. Feeling something sweet afterward? Check out Sprinkles to finish the day with something sweet and savory.

4.) Harpoon Brewery

Harpoon Brewery is one of our favorite Boston-based breweries to relax, eat, and drink. The brewery offers countless cold, refreshing beers, cider, and hard seltzers you can enjoy either in the Beer Hall or outdoors. Enjoy some of your favorite pub-style food and snacks right from Harpoon Kitchen! Looking to see the behind-the-scenes? They offer private guided tours so you can see all that goes into creating your drink of choice! Harpoon Brewery is an excellent destination to check out with some of your favorite drinking pals!

5.) The New England Aquarium

If you haven’t visited the New England Aquarium, you are missing out! Our waterfront neighbor, the New England Aquarium, has 4 floors and over 1,000 marine animals to see and read about, as it is a global leader in ocean exploration. The Aquarium gives you the opportunity to see and appreciate how beautiful our underwater sea creatures are and is perfect for ALL ages. We love that there is always a marine educator to answer any questions that we have! Visit the New England Aquarium before or after a ride on our boats, where the ocean’s wildlife is at your fingertips!

The city of Boston is nothing short of things to do and see. Although these are some of our favorites, many more make it on our ‘Boston Electric Boats Boston Bucket-List’! Walk around Newbury Street, Copley Square, the Prudential Center, Faneuil Hall, the North End, and the Seaport to see a blend of Boston’s historic and contemporary areas that offer an abundance of amazing food, sights, and shopping! From walking tours, museums and galleries, to the iconic Swan and Duck Boats, there’s something perfect to see or do for everyone in the family.

Don’t limit your Boston experience with just one activity, but try some of these 5 or more! Join Boston Electric Boats for a cruise on the harbor in the midst of all your explorations!
